VVA Chapter 221
Suspended December 2, 2017, letter sent by VVA WSC Secretary January 18, 2018 and recent via Email March 15, 2018.  Suspension for nonattendance to 50 percent of the four VVA WSC Quarterly Meetings in the 2017 calendar year.


Definition and Parameters of a Temporary Suspension by the State Council

As per VVA WSC letter sent (October 6, 2014) to all VVA WSC Officers, WSC Region Directors, and VVA WSC Chapter Presidents, Officers and their delegates; it was declared that all VVA WSC Chapters must be represented at no less than one-half or 50 percent of the scheduled WSC Meetings – held quarterly during the calendar year.  Failure to meet this minimum requirement will result in disciplinary action and VVA WSC suspension – refer to VVA Constitution and National Disciplinary Policy. 

According to VVA National Discplinary Policy any VVA Chapter under temporary suspension by the Wisconsin State Council:

  1. May continue to use the VVA name and logo; continue to receive  unsolicited tax-deductible contributions; conduct VVA Chapter business only for the purposes of calling a meeting for disbursing funds previously raised in VVAs name to pay VVA Chapter obligations.
  2. MAY NOT engage in fund-raising activities, regardless of contractural arrangements; receive revenues generated by VVA, to include member dues rebates or Household Goods Donation Program funds; send delegates to the national convention.
  3. All violations of the conditions of suspension will be reported to the Wisconsin State Council President and/or Secretary and raised with the state councils Disciplinary Committee.
  4. Continued non-compliance or violations will reported to the National Secretary with witness statements and/or other documentary evidence by the state council’s Disciplinary Committee.
