Issues of War

Whether the forgotten war - Korea, or Vietnam, Lebanon, the Gulf War, Somalia, Bosnia, Kosovo or the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan; America's young men and women enter conflicts far beyond any one can ever imagine.  Moreover, each and everyone of our country's service men and women coming home from theaters of conflict "return changed."

The romantic and mancho views of war painted by writers in prose and portrayed by filmmakers are neither realistic nor true.  The lives of our nation's service men and women are changed forever by war whether in support of their brothers and sisters in arms or with boots on the ground in the area of combat.

This section deals with the health, medical, and mental health issues impacting all service members and veterans of all eras, but emphasis will be placed on Vietnam Era veterans.
